Feeing Course:
6 weeks followed by exam
AIMS:
- To understand the reason for feeing.
- To understand the importance of well-maintained files.
- To understand Terms of Business letters.
- To understand the rules laid by the Law Society of Scotland which relate to feeing and the charging of fees.
- To be able to fee a file.
L EARNING OUTCOMES:
By the end of the module a student should be sufficiently familiar with how a fee is arrived at to be able to fee up a properly maintained file at the correct rate and to recognise what points are missing from it.
