Cashroom Accounting and Administration Course
10 weeks followed by exam
AIMS:
- To be familiar with the rules which are incorporated within The Law Society of Scotland practice Rules 2011.
- To have a proper working knowledge of these.
- To be able to apply these Rules in a working situation.
- To understand VAT rules and banking practices as they apply to a Legal Practice.
LEARNING OUTCOMES:
By the end of the module students should be able to interpret the Accounts Rules, including the Money Laundering Regulations and apply them to day-to-day working practices. They will have an understanding of basic accounting principles, banking practices, VAT and all the administration that is required to run an efficient and compliant cash-room.
